Negotiations between laotian delegatioin and officials of JSC
"Russian railways" held in Moscow on October 24,2009. The parties
discussed the project of possible railway construction in Laos
communicating the country with other states of the region. The parties
agreed to continue the change of identify documents to make a final
decision on the project.
The russian part had been represented by officials of JSC"Russian
railways", laotian part - the Minister of public works and transport,
President of the Laos-Russia friendship association H.E.Mr. Sommath
Pholsena and Head of the construction department of the Ministry of
transport Mr. Viensavat Siphandon.
At the end of the talks Mr.S.Pholsena invited the Head of the
JSC "Russian railways" to visit the Lao PDR.
