The ceremonial meeting of the Editorial Board of the theoretical and practical magazine "MIP: Modernization Innovation
Progress" devoted to the first anniversary of its creation held in MIRBIS (Institute) yesterday in Moscow. The meeting was opened by the deputy Editor-in-Chief, academician of Russian Academy of Economic Science Mr. E. Zhukov which is particularly noted that the first year of magazine's liife convincingly confirmed the founders' belief of its necessity.
The transition to an innovation economy was harder and in a complicated manner.To settle emerging challenges in many ways contribute to the volume and quality of magazins' publications which makes it interesting, necessary and usefull.
Total for the year the magazine entered into the list of periodicals reviewed by the Federal Service for Supervision in
Education and Science.
In attendance were members of the Editorial Board academicians Mr. A. Akaev and Mrs. T.Kelina, "Nauka" Publishing house director general,professor S. Evdokimova,first deputy chairman of the Russian Peace Foundation, Honorary professor of MIRBIS Institute,academician I.Panfilov, members of the Board of Trustees and other prominent scientists and economists.
