On the occasion of the 10-th Anniversary of the signing the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between Russian Federation and People's Republic of China the official reception was organized by the Chinese embassy in Moscow on July 15,2011. The party were attended by the officials of both countries, in particular with the Russian side - First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian goverment A.Zhukov, heads of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, diplomats of a number of foreign countries, representatives of business and academic circles, press and Moscow public.
In his speech the Chinese Ambassador Li Hui noted that from year to year the bilateral relations gaining strength and are now at high level. Over the years the volume of mutural trade increased from $18 billion to $60 billion.
As a part of the reception the ceremony of special cancellation of the philatelic items like commemorative covers and cards especially issued on this event was organized. The above ceremony attended by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs A.Denisov and the Ambassador of PRC in RF Li Hui. "MK-SP" Deputy Director General Mr.S.Garynov and Prof. A.Srygin, editor-in-chief of Russian philatelic magazine "The World of stamps and coins" also took part in the ceremony to organize the cancellation.
