On June 7-9, 2005, the First International Scientific-and-Practical Conference on Security Printing “WaterMark Conference” was held in St.-Petersburg.

The Conference was patronized by the GOZNAK Association and sponsored by MK-SP Ltd. That Conference was the first one organized in Russia and by a Russian company. It was held on the highest level and was attended by leading world firms dealing with the security printing.

Among Russian guests were managers of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and the Department of Security Papers of the Federal Security Service, representatives of other State bodies.

All the participants of the Conference which was completed by a gala-reception in the Peter the First Palace – the pearl of St.-Petersburg – noted the highest level of the Conference, its organizational and business richness and importance.
