On October 5, 2005, Mr. Nikolay N. Ustinov - Director General of "MK-SP Ltd." - was elected Acting member of the Academy of Security, Defense and Law-and-Order of the Russian Federation.

All-Russian public organization "Academy of Security, Defense and Law-and-Order" was established on August 31, 2000, with the support of the Staff of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, the State Customs Committee of the Russian Federation, plenipotentiary representatives of the President of the Russian Federation in federal districts and other state departments.

The main tasks of the Academy: studying and summarizing of the achievements of world and domestic science, assistance to strengthening scientific ties with similar organizations of CIS countries, interaction with the state bodies in the field of security, defense and law-and-order, educational activities, as well as popularization of and information about the latest results of practical and scientific activities in this field.
