In January-February 2005 the Printing Factory of the State Bank of Cambodia with the participation of Russian specialists put into operation an intaglio line. At present thanks to the assistance of MK-SP's specialists the Kingdom of Cambodia have the possibility to produce on their own - along with the manufacturing of low nomination banknotes - high value banknotes with more effective security features which are ensured by the use of wide-spread and universal method of manufacturing security papers – intaglio printing.
