On the occasion of the 35-th Anniversary of the Proclamaition of Lao People's Democratic Republic the embassy of Lao PDR held the official reception which was arganized in VIP Hall of "Redisson Slavianskaya" hotel on December 1,2010.
The official evening party was attended by high ranking officials of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Association of Russian-Lao Friendship, Russian Peace Fund, representatives of different ministries and
departments,Heads of diplomatic representations and millitary attache of the countries of Asia-Pacific region(ASEAN), as well as business community, scientists and public of Moscow.
Addressing to the guests garthered H.E. Somphonne Sichaleune, the Ambassor of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Lao PDR to Russia told about the achievements of the native country in different sphears of economy and culture for the short historical period as well as the progress in labour conditions and life level of Laotian people. The Laotian Ambassador also deeply appreciated the biletaral ties between the two countries Laos and Russia, marking their permanent development, upgrading and strenthening.
The party was held in warm and and friendly atmosphere. The guests also could see the performance
of national folklore groups of dance and music.
